Marjory Jacobs, a 26-year veteran of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, began her career with the Sheriff’s Department in 1996. After graduation from the Sheriff’s Training Academy, her assignments included Police Officer with the City of El Segundo Police Department (991-1996), Pitchess Detention Center, Custody Support Services, and Palmdale Station. In December 2000, she promoted to sergeant and worked Custody, Patrol (West Hollywood, Altadena and Sheriff’s Communication Center.) In April 2008, she promoted to lieutenant and worked Custody, Patrol (Crescenta Valley Station Watch Commander and Operations Lieutenant) and was temporarily assigned as the Division Chief’s Aide. In April 2018, Lieutenant Jacobs was assigned to the Pico Rivera Station, Operations. In July 2018, Lieutenant Jacobs became the Acting Captain for Pico Rivera Station.
Lieutenant Jacobs holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Studies from California State University of Long Beach. Lieutenant Jacobs graduated from the Federal Bureau of Investigations National Academy on June 8, 2018.
Lieutenant Jacobs is a resident of the City of Downey and is married with two children. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, camping, outdoor activities, and spending time with her family.
